About

I'm Ahmed Tabish, a software engineer based in India. I build developer tools, internal systems, and small open-source projects — usually things I needed myself and couldn't find done the way I wanted.

My work sits at the intersection of developer experience and systems engineering. I care about tools that feel good to use: fast, predictable, and quiet. I've spent the last several years working on static analysis, task queues, and local-first software.

When I'm not writing code, I write about it. This site is where I publish longer-form essays on engineering — the decisions, the trade-offs, and the parts of building software that don't make it into the documentation.

You can find my open-source work on GitHub, occasional thoughts on Twitter, and my professional background on LinkedIn. If you'd like to get in touch, the contact page is the best starting point.
